This course, required of physiology graduate students, consists of closely integrated series of lectures, conferences and laboratory experiences presenting the physical underpinnings and functional properties of living matter and its reactions to internal and external stimuli. The physiology of the body's various systems is detailed, and their integration into a coordinated functional unit is described. (didactic, lecture)
